Our house has a spacious double room available with a comfortable bed, wardrobe and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests will have use of their own private bathroom with towels, shower gel, shampoo & body lotion provided. Your stay includes a continental or Irish breakfast. Also available is a cosy relaxing room, just across your bedroom. You can just relax, or watch television (Sky), enjoy a cup
of coffee (Dolce Gusto) or tea, or have a drink (soft drinks, beer & wine). We speak English, Dutch & French fluently and German basic. The Laghtagoona estate is just a 5 min walk from the picturesque village of Corofin. The village is ideally placed on the edge of the Burren National Park, and within walking distance of Inchiquin lake. Main Street in Corofin, has a wide variety of pubs and shops. The Burren information Centre provides free busses to a variety of hiking trails in the Burren. Corofin is 15 minutes by car from Ennis, 20 to 25 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Lahinch, Ballyvaughan & Kilfenora (Father Ted house).

*** The Neighborhood ***
Corofin is a small and lovely village in The Burren National Park. Ennis is 15 minutes away and the ocean (Lahinch) about 25 minutes. For the anglers, there's Inchiquin lake at walking distance (1.5 km). From May until October, a free bus shuttle takes you from Corofin Church car park (1 km) to The Burren, where you can choose different trails. We can arrange a guided walk for you (reservation necessary and supplement to be paid to the guide). In the village (1/2 km), there are 5 pubs, with regularly live music and good meals. You'll also find there 2 supermarkets, a coffee shop, a health shop, hair dressers, etc. In case of medical needs, the medical centre is just around the corner.
*** Getting Around ***
Free parking on the driveway. There's public transport at 9.30am in direction of Ennis and at 3pm from Ennis to Corofin. I can collect you from and drive you to Shannon airport (€ 25.00 one way), or bring you to and collect you from Ennis if you want to go to town for a day (€ 10.00 one way). Car rentals available at Shannon Airport or in Ennis.

We have a little non-shedding dog who goes by the name of Bailey, who is very child-friendly and loves a little bit of attention. You can also use a relaxing room across the bedroom with couches, television (Sky), dvd, fridge and free coffee/tea making facilities. Dolce Gusto coffee (Lungo, Lungo deca, Americano & Cappuccino), Coca Cola, Diet Coca Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Carlsberg, White & Red Wine available at cost price. Also available upon request is lunch & dinner. We can prepare a 3course meal for € 18.00 pps, including water. Wine, beer or soda's are also available at a small additional charge. Do you have special requests, such as gluten free or vegetarian meals, please let us know. We adapt to your needs and wishes.
