St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Donegal Town will take place on Monday the 17th of March at 3pm. This is a great festive fun day for all the family celebrating our National Saint and all things Irish. Make sure and get into town nice and early as car park spaces will fill up fast. Take the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere, live music on the Diamond with ‘Riosca’ before the Parade or savor the flavour with a little lunch in one of Donegal Town’s fabulous coffee-shops or restaurants. We are delighted to have four of the very best Marching Bands in the region taking part in our parade this year along with local schools, groups and businesses all bringing their own unique creativity, sound, colour and enthusiasm to this special annual event. So don’t be afraid to give them all

Parking will be available in the Main Car Park, at the Quay, at the old Fire Station behind St Patrick’s Church or if you fancy a bit of a walk out at the Health Centre Drumlonagher. Please avoid parking in Supermarket Car parks for any extended period of time.

The 174 steps that lead down (...and back up!) to Donegal's Malin Beg 😓

Also known as 'Silver Strand' (yes, there's around 30 beaches with this name in Ireland), Malin Beg is arguably one of the Wild Atlantic Way's more impressive beaches 😍

Now, if you/someone you're travelling with has limited mobility, don't worry - you can admire the horseshoe-shaped cliffs at Silver Strand
