Our Viking Bank Holiday weekend round-up and a truly delicious one at that!

Starting with fresh nettles plucked from our grounds by our Head Chef which were made into a creamy risotto with peas and aged Parmesan, while crab landing straight from Kincasslagh Pier was served with claws, crab meat and our homemade Marie Rose-style dressing 🤌🏻

Alongside our Moules Frites, it was a weekend full of wonderful, fresh local produce and great flavours - what we absolutely love and what we are all about at Viking!

If you didn't have the chance to join us and sample our specials this weekend, don't worry, our specials will be recurring!

Ending Sunday with a chilled pint of Guinness … Or, a Guinness Draught 0.0%. We're the only venue in Donegal serving 'Guinness 0.0' on draught - the best of both worlds!

Join us for a drink before Sunday comes to an end. Our bar is open until 11:30pm, and our dining menu is served until 8pm tonight.

Sunday Roast at Viking House 🥰
Our rump of beef has been marinating for over 24 hours, ready to be served with all the trimmings. We also have a vegetarian option and chicken too!

🍀 Please note: our regular dining menu will resume from 5pm today.

From plant to plate 🌿
This morning, our Chef went out & about in the grounds to hand-pick fresh young nettles for today's special: Nettle & Aged Parmesan Risotto.

Fresh mussels cooked in a fragrant sauce of fennel, shallots, celery and white wine, served with crispy golden frites. Best enjoyed with a chilled glass of wine and the fresh sea air!
