From founding Alexander & Björck in London to bringing a fresh chapter to Viking House, Lena has always loved the world of hospitality, creating personal experiences and bringing people together.

Today, that love of hospitality has found a place at Viking House, where our 14-bedroom hotel, restaurant and bar has become a welcoming hubbub for everyone to enjoy the very best of Donegal.

Happy Father’s Day and the official start of Summer 2026 (with the Summer Solstice) ☀️

We’ll be celebrating at Viking today with our Sunday Roast, served from 12.30pm – 4.30pm, before our full dining menu returns from 5pm. And what better, to finish with one of our delicious Viking Sundaes? It’s now officially summertime afterall.

Hopefully the man of the day won’t be found in the kitchen but instead relaxing with a well-earned poured pint in hand.

Something new at Viking House ... We’re launching a fresh menu for you from Wednesday 17th June 🌊

Our “Light Lunchtime Menu” available from Monday to Thursdays only. Enjoy 2-courses for €20 or 3-courses for €25 with homemade Viking fish pie, roast beef & horseradish sandwiches, and more.

We've also created some new dishes on our à la carte menu, meaning even more reason to come by.
