This year, the Ardáncollective is proud to support Endometriosis Ireland as our Charity of the Year. Endometriosis affects thousands across Ireland, yet it is often misunderstood, underdiagnosed, and dismissed. By partnering with Endometriosis Ireland, we aim to raise awareness, provide support, and help break the stigma around menstrual and reproductive health.

As part of this partnership, we’re excited to support MACHA, an Irish short film inspired by lived experience. The film follows Ana, a young woman living with endometriosis, as she navigates a fractured medical system and finds strength in the legend of the Irish Goddess Macha.

Written by Niamh Mahony, directed by Shane Robinson, and produced by Croía McDermott, MACHA is a powerful story of resilience, chronic pain, and the importance of being heard.
