Carnbeg Hotel Dundalk to Close due to Covid 19

The Carnbeg Hotel Dundalk has now stopped all food service having earlier this week closed its bar and the Hotel will fully close down this coming Friday morning until at least March 29th .

We take this decision in the health interests of our valued customers our dedicated staff and Ireland at this unprecedented time.

Updates will be posted via Facebook and our website www.carnbeghotel.ie and we look forward to seeing our customers back in the near future.

Carnbeg Hotel & Spa (Dundalk) Shapes Up to Corona Virus Challenge.

The Carnbeg Hotel just outside Dundalk has introduced extensive measures to ensure that it's customers and staff are protected during the current Corona Virus period.

Carnbeg Hotel & Spa Operator Michael Lynch stated "Our customers safety and that of our staff are paramount and we want our customers to be confident that we are ready and operating best in class with our efforts at this time.

We have introduced strong measures to ensure our hotel is in the best state of preparedness that it can be at all times which include:

1. Three times daily sanitisation of all public area customer and staff touch points with hospital grade sanitiser.

2. Introduction of 9 hand sanitiser points at the entrance to all key areas of the hotel.

3. Regular steam cleaning of fabric and hard surfaces in public area.

4. Daily cleaning with hospital grade cleaner of all bedroom guest touch points.

5. Increased sanitisation of all surfaces in our Kitchens and ongoing risk reviews with our external safety consultants."

The Covid 19 action group with consists of Michael Lynch, Darren Black (Senior Operations Manager), Ann Marie McArdle (Head Housekeeper) and Denis Monaghan (Head Chef) are meeting regularly to review if any other measures need to be taken.

Following an extensive investment and refurbishment programme, Carnbeg Hotel and Spa has been awarded Four Star Classification from Failte Ireland.

The hotel has undergone a refurbishment due to a substantial investment over the past 12 months. There has been an addition of a new top-class spa that uses certified organic products from the Irish brand Voya, and a ballroom, suitable for a wide range of events including weddings. All of our bedrooms have been refurbished as well as our Leisure Club and the ground floor that hosts our restaurant and bar.

Situated on a 100 acres less than 5 minutes from Dundalk town centre, accompanied by the breathtaking background of the Cooley Mountains, The Carnbeg Hotel and Spa is ideally located for both locals and tourists.
