All Waste Service Providers (i.e. Waste Oil/Grease Trap Waste Disposal/ Food Waste Operators) can now simply upload each disposal cert etc directly onto the fog.ie webpage for their own client. Only verifiable data is then stored for Local Authority ‘FOG’ Inspectorate to view online. This documentation verifies that scheduled works were indeed promptly carried out. Now more than ever FSE need accurate record keeping for regular ‘FOG’ Inspections. Let’s face it we have all at some time mislaid a docket or cert. Perhaps it has inadvertently been sent to your Accounts Dept. with an invoice. This often results in a letter of breach or the need to email this document to Inspectors. Never again, with the help of fog.ie, will an FSE face the scenario of a lost disposal cert. By issuing your own Service Providers with Passwords they gain only limited access to fog.ie. FSE instruct those Companies to then upload all future documents onto your own fog.ie site. From where ‘FOG’ Inspectorate can then log on to view those same documents online.
