The Irish government is proposing to reduce the flights between our beautiful Donegal Airport and our capital city from this Spring, a detriment to a community with otherwise poor access to Dublin by other public modes of transport.

Taking advantage of the fine festive weather here in Donegal, some of the clan took the short ferry journey out to Arranmore Island today.

Do include a visit to the island on your next stay at our Caravan Park. We recommend bringing your car onto the island so you can visit the lighthouse and take the steps (carefully!) leading down to the bed of the rock cliffs.

The poor weather didn’t stop some caravan park guests and Alan doing the 5 km local park run this morning here in Dungloe!
