💚💛 DONEGAL AIRPORT, COUNTY DONEGAL 💚💛

Donegal Airport has been voted the most scenic airport in the world (for a number of years). Located in Carrickfinn, the airport is on the County's north-west coast about a 15-minute drive from Dungloe & Gaoth Dobhair and 50km from Letterkenny.

There is a daily service from Dublin to Donegal now operated by Emerald Airlines under the Aer Lingus regional brand. https://donegalairport.ie/

There are copious amounts of golden sandy beaches in this area. The stunning Carrickfinn Beach is a beautiful sandy beach with impressive dunes situated a stone’s-throw from Donegal Airport. Carrickfinn Beach is popular for bathing, walking, bird watching and watching for dolphins from the shore. Nearby to Carrickfinn you have areas like Gaoth Dobhair, Falcarragh, Annagry, Rann na Feirste, Dungloe, Cruit Island, Kincasslagh and The Rosses.
