After moving to this wonderful country and in this beautiful house with it's amazing surrounding, I started a B&B with guest rooms on the first floor of my house. I was born in Germany and I'm not the youngest any more. My special connection to the Beara Peninsula and the hills between Eyeries and Allihies dates back to my first holiday in Ireland 2015. It was the first time my soul felt at home,
really at home and I knew immedialety that I want to live here. After all, I was extremely lucky to find this house at the place I loved most. To make a living, I started a B&B with guest rooms on the first floor of my house. The start of my B&B on 15 March 2020 was a little bumpy because the country went into Covid lockdown a few days later. But this place has an attraction of its own and I try to do my best to make the name of my B&B come true for my guests. Anam Sona is Irish and means Happy Soul. During the second lockdown I bought a dog to acompany me on my walks. I now have two Bichon frise dogs who love to walk with me.
