As part of Salthill Hotel’s 50th anniversary celebrations, the hotel will host a unique event that aims to bring back the couples that got married in the last 50 years at the premier wedding destination.

The Wedding Gathering will take place on Sunday 27th of October 2013 and hopes to attract all couples that got married from 1963 to 2013 to come back and celebrate together. Since 1963, Salthill Hotel has catered for over 2,500 weddings and the Wedding Gathering event also hopes to honor any couple that has or will be celebrating 50 years of marriage this year.

Speaking on this novel gathering, event organizer Paul Murray explained, “Some bridal parties may not have celebrated together since their wedding day, so it could be an ideal opportunity to get your entire bridal party back together again”.

The Wedding Gathering will begin with a reception at 5pm, followed by a three course meal and guests will also be treated to the sounds of ‘The Wave’ who will play into the early hours.
