We spent three incredible days surrounded by the Connemara mountains, and it was genuinely one of the most beautiful trips we’ve ever taken. The scenery is breathtaking, but what really makes Delphi special is the combination of peace, relaxation and adventure all in one place.
The kids had the BEST time! 😍 From rock climbing and archery to ziplining and abseiling, there are so many activities to choose from – and that’s only scratching the surface. 🧗♀️🏹🌲
Our rooms were beautiful, spacious and so comfortable, and every member of staff we met was incredibly warm and welcoming. There’s even a lovely Delphi shop on the grounds where you can pick up little gifts and keepsakes to remember your stay. 🛍️
And the food… 🤌❤️ Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious, with such a great variety to choose from. Dinner was just as beautiful – there’s something very special about sitting down for a gorgeous meal while looking out at those incredible Connemara mountains. 🏔️🍽️
What we loved most is that Delphi works just as well for couples and adults travelling without children as it does for families. We saw both during our stay. Adults can enjoy the thermal suite and relaxation areas, while there are also cosy spaces to sit, unwind, read or play games together.
There’s a brilliant outdoor playground for the kids too, so even when you’re not doing one of the organised activities, there’s still plenty to keep them entertained.
If you’re planning a staycation in Ireland, family holiday in Galway, romantic Connemara getaway or adventure break, this is somewhere I would genuinely recommend adding to your list.
