Nora Mortimer Joyce was out early where she lives in Leenane and captured this hauntingly beautiful image or Killary, complete with a highly (or visually lowly!) unusual rainbow. It looks more like a Leprechauns Bridge! πŸŒˆπŸ’•πŸ€£

If we leave here early enough on Sunday we might see the same for ourselves!? .

About the artists:
Emily Walsh is a young artist who is steadily turning her passion for painting into a business. She started out making handmade cards, which soon expanded to commission paintings. She paints everything from cars and tractors, to people and pet portraits. Emily has studies Art and Interior Design. At present she works as an Interior Designer while doing art in her free time. She is an animal lover with many of her own. She has rabbits, goats, cats, dogs and horses. She has an eye for detail and tries to capture each animal’s personality in her work.

Tara Walsh is a native of Connemara and lives with her husband in Oughterard, Co. Galway. Ever since she was a child she was very creative, which lead her to study art. She has an honours degree in Fine Art & Design. Her three children have since grown up. This gives her time to go off for the day and paint in plein air. Tara take her inspiration from the beauty of nature in her surrounding area. She takes sketches back to her studio to experiment with different mediums, like linocut and watercolours. Her favourite medium is oil painting. She hopes to continue to express herself through art and painting. Also, to bring inspiration to others and find calmness in nature and the art of looking.
