🚨 WHAT TO DO IF YOU THINK YOU’RE HAVING A HEART ATTACK — AND YOU’RE ALONE

It’s late in the day, you’re driving home after a long, stressful shift.
Suddenly, there’s a strange **tightness in your chest** — maybe it spreads to your arm, jaw, or back.
You start **sweating for no reason**, feel dizzy, or have that gut feeling something’s seriously wrong.

This could be your body’s warning sign of a **heart attack** — and what you do in the next few minutes could **save your life**.

🩺 What To Do — Step by Step:

1️⃣ **Pull over safely** and **call 999 or 112 immediately.**
Don’t try to drive yourself. Tell the operator you think you’re having a heart attack.

2️⃣ **Unlock your doors** and **turn on your hazard lights** so help can reach you quickly.

3️⃣ **Chew and swallow one full aspirin (300 mg)** — *only if you’re not allergic or on medication that prevents it.*

4️⃣ **Stay calm, sit quietly, and wait for help.** Avoid unnecessary movement — every bit of rest helps your heart.

5️⃣ If you become unresponsive and someone finds you, they should **start CPR** and use an **AED** if one’s nearby.

⚠️ About “Cough CPR”

You may have seen posts saying to **cough repeatedly** during a heart attack — this is **not recommended**.
That “cough CPR” method was used **only in hospitals under medical supervision** for certain rhythm problems while attached to monitors.
It’s **not effective or safe to use outside hospital settings.**
The best thing you can do is **call for help early** and **stay as still as possible**.

👩‍🦰 Women’s Heart Attack Symptoms Can Be Different:

Women are less likely to feel “crushing” chest pain.
They might notice:

* Sudden fatigue or weakness
* Shortness of breath
* Pain across the upper back, shoulders, or jaw
* Nausea or indigestion-like discomfort

If in doubt — **don’t wait it out. Call 999 or 112 immediately.**

❤️ A Message Worth Sharing

Every minute counts in a heart emergency.
Sharing the *right* information could **save a life** — maybe even your own.

👉 Learn **CPR and AED use** with your local **Community First Responders (CFR)** team.
You could be the link that keeps someone alive until professional help arrives.

Stay safe, stay aware, and look out for each other. 💙

🇮🇪 The Irish Genius Behind Sudocrem 🇮🇪
Once again, the Irish have shown the world just how innovative and caring we can be. Back in 1931, a Dublin pharmacist named Thomas Smith created a simple cream to soothe irritated skin — and from that small idea, Sudocrem was born. What started as a local remedy has become a household essential in homes across the globe. From nappy rash to burns, eczema to scrapes, Sudocrem has healed and comforted generations. It’s one of those quiet Irish successes that has made a massive difference worldwide. 💚

From Dublin to the World 🌍
It’s amazing to think that something invented in Dublin almost a century ago is now found in millions of homes around the world. Sudocrem, created by Irish pharmacist Thomas Smith, has stood the test of time — proof that Irish innovation and heart go hand in hand. It’s not just a cream; it’s a symbol of care, compassion, and clever thinking that continues to make life that little bit better for families everywhere. ☘️

A Proud Irish Success Story 💫
While the world often celebrates big tech or flashy inventions, sometimes the most impactful creations are the simplest ones. Sudocrem, born in Ireland, has brought comfort and healing to countless people around the world. For nearly 100 years, this humble Irish creation has proven its worth — soothing skin and showing, once again, that Ireland punches well above its weight in brilliance, compassion, and creativity. 🇮🇪
