A milestone worth celebrating!

Another wonderful weekend stay at Belmont House!

We had the pleasure of hosting a lovely group of friends celebrating a special 70th birthday! They booked and were treated to a fabulous dining experience that set the tone for their weekend. They enjoyed a lovely lunchtime concert in Cork City and made the most of their stay cozying up in the drawing room by the log fire in the evenings. 🔥

Hi, I'm Lia 👋

Together with my husband Stephen, we run Belmont House in Innishannon in the beautiful West Cork.

Surrounded by the countryside, quiet moments, and nature's beauty, it's a place to slow down and savour time together.

We are delighted to have so many repeat bookings this year and look forward to welcoming all of our guests who are coming to stay in 2026!

We have poured our hearts into restoring Belmont House and are thrilled to share such a unique home with so many of you from all over the country as well as guests from different parts of the world.

My favourite spot in the house is in the drawing room. Sitting by the original gothic windows overlooking the River Bandon, it's the perfect spot to relax, take in nature, and enjoy a quiet moment. ✨️

The history surrounding Belmont adds so much character and life to the house. Built in 1820, each room tells its own story, and the original features throughout the house are loved by our guests!

Belmont is very spacious and is a great property to share with family and friends alike. There are five bedrooms and five bathrooms which make it easy for people to come together but still have enough space to themselves during their stay.

We are excited for another great year ahead for Belmont House!

A recent review from a lovely guest! ☆☆☆☆☆

Absolute Perfection! Our family loved our stay at Belmont House. There was plenty of space for our family of 9 adults to spread out and relax. The house is as beautiful in person as the pictures are on the website. Stephen had bread, butter, milk, eggs, sausage, juice, and even chocolate waiting for us upon arrival-- which was such a sweet surprise. My favorite part was drinking tea in the morning while overlooking the river-- the views from the house are just lovely. Being able to do laundry in the middle of our trip was extremely helpful too. It's an easy drive to Kinsale and there are grocery stores nearby as well as an adorable coffee shop called Wildflour right in town. Stephen is a very responsive host who answered all of our questions. Book this house for your next trip and you will be glad you did.
