An Absolute Delight
After staying in a number of varied bnbs in Ireland and UK, it was a sheer delight to be welcomed by the owner of this establishment so warmly and sincerely on our arrival. We laughed with Siohban from our arriving at her bnb in Kilarney to our leaving. Much has been written about this bnb: easy parking, location close to town and the quality and size of the room, all brilliant. However what made our stay so memorable, was the wonderful owner. Siobhan typifies all that is great about very good bnbs: her ability to make you feel immediately at home in her home, this coupled with her delightful Irish sense of humour and her down to earth anecdotes made you feel that you'd rather chat with Siobhan than see the sights of Kilarney. We only stayed for 2 nights but when we left, we felt we were leaving an old friend ( easy on the " old "). If staying in Kilarney, do yourself a big favour and visit Siobhan, perhaps one or two of the bnb owners with whom we stayed with in Ireland, should pop in and see how Siobhan does it. It seems effortless but it can appear that way when you genuinely like the guests and understand what real hospitality means. Keep after the laughter and stories, Siobhan.
