Rutting Season has arrived in Killarney 🦌
As Autumn arrives, Killarney’s Red Deer enter one of the most fascinating times of the year - The Rut.
From September through to November, Stags compete for the attention of females, with impressive displays of strength and the unmistakable sight of their magnificent antlers. It’s a unique part of Autumn in Killarney National Park and one of the best times of year to spot these incredible animals in their natural surroundings.
And if you’re staying with us at Castlerosse Park Resort, keep your eyes (and ears) open… you may spot Deer around the grounds or hear the distant roar of a Stag from the resort.
