Is well situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, the longest, 2,500km, spectacular scenic driving route in the world. The house itself is a spacious historic residence built in 1873, overlooking the sea. It is ideally situated in the heart of the village of Knightstown yet s

ecluded within in its own private gardens. The house was built for the cable master at the time of the trans Atlantic cable that was laid from Valentia Island to Hearts Content, Newfoundland, Canada. Guests come to relax and stay at the self catering cottages, once the farm buildings of the main house.They can explore nature, learn about the heritage, taste a bit of island life at Valentia Island ice cream parlour, take a horse carriage tour, visit the Skelligs, Lighthouse , Slate quarry, walk, hike, swim at Glanleam beach, kayak, sail, go fishing, play tennis, enjoy the local playground and zip wire, sip a cappuccino, savour a good pint and a taste the variety of lunches and dinners that the local restaurants and pubs have to offer. Many of of our guests return time and time again. Atlantic Villa welcomes guests all year round.
