A friendly welcome is always afforded to our guests at our Mountain View Bed & Breakfast along with what can described as one of the most scenic areas in Connemara. We are situated close to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, Croagh Patrick, Cong (Lough Corrib ferries), the world renowned Ashford castle, Glengowla mines and the original quiet man cottage (10 min drive). We are 4km from Leenan

e Village, location for the film “The Field”, this is an ideal location to spend a relaxing evening to enjoy a meal and later a drink in the village bars. Enjoy sightseeing cruises on the Killary fjord from Leenane aboard the Connemara lady. Perfect base for the Connemara Marathon, Mini Gaelforce and Connemara walking festivals etc – Transport to and from these events available on request. Westport and Oughterard golf courses are just a 30 min drive away. A beautiful secluded sandy beach “Glaislean” is just a 20 minute drive. Should you have any additional requests before or during your stay we are happy to oblige.
