Avondale Accommodation is a small business in Letterkenny town Centre proving Accommodation to a wide spectrum of people for various reasons, and needs.
I am seeking a cleaner/housekeeper to work here preferably on a full time basis. (30+ hrs)
You should have previous expeeience working in hospitality and/or cleaning.
(Cleaning your house doesn't count as experience)
You must be reliable and keep good time
Higher rates will e paid once you are able to work alone, and can prove you are reliable

Avondale Accomodation is a hostel in Letteekenny town centere providing Accomodation to a wide range of groups.
This can be a challenging environment to work in, meeting deadlines, juggling alot of things at once.
This job is not easy, if you are looking for an easy job this isn't it.
If you are looking for a handy few Bob, this isn't it. Im looking for a serious person who's ambitious, likes to work hard and takes pride in what they are doing.

AVONDALE ACCOMODATION provides accomodation both on a nightly and weekly basis, to a wide variety of customers for various different needs.

We are still open at the moment providing services to the homeless and essential workers.

I am looking for a practical, hands on person who is used to manual work and is a quick thinker.

I am not seeking someone from a particular background, however if you have worked in practical manual jobs in the past you will fit in.

There are two main areas of work in the hostel

Cleaning & Housekeeping

Cleaning Communal Areas

Changing bins

Hovering

Changing bedding

Managing Laundry

Maintenance:

Painting

Filling & Making Good

Sweeping

Powerwahing

Helping with the insulation of cables and pipework

Helping with emergency Maintenance.

If you are particularly concerned about contracting Covid 19 and/or in a vonerable group, please do not apply for this job, you will be working in close quarters with other people. (I cannot gaurentee your safety) because of the nature of the work.
