Singer Songwriter Tom Robinson first came to prominence in 1977 with The Tom Robinson Band. Their song 2-4-6-8 Motorway made the top five in the UK singles chart in October 1977. Four Months later February 1978 they released the fabulous Rising Free EP which included the songs Up Against The Wall, Glad To Be Gay, Martin, and Right On Sister. Tom had two big solo hits War Baby got to a very respectable No 6 in the charts in 1983 and Atmospherics Listen To The Radio peaked at number 39. Tom Robinson is a fabulous musician, performer and storyteller and it’s great he is coming to Royal Spa Hotel.
