Marian has been involved in the Listowel Writers Festivals for several years and teaches Creative Writing to children and adults.

Join us for Literary Listowel on Thursday 3rd October from 7pm-9pm in Kerry Writers’ Museum in Listowel.

Our monthly open mic event is back, offering a welcoming space for writers, poets, and storytellers to share their work and connect with others in the creative community.

Whether you're an experienced writer or just starting out, take the mic and let your words flow, or simply come along to enjoy the talent and be part of an inspiring evening of literary expression.

Everyone is welcome—bring friends, or meet fellow word enthusiasts on the night.

Culture Night Events on Friday 20th September:

Storyshop Workshops for Children with Me and The Moon, chose from 3-4pm, 4.30-5.30pm or 6-7pm at Muckross Garden Restaurant, or 4-5pm, 5.30-6.30pm or 7-8pm at Collis Sandes House, Tralee
Using drawing tools, each child will develop their own story character, which when finished will be added to a large group mural. Over the course of Culture Night, a story begins to emerge as the mural develops.

An evening of entertainment with Traditional Irish, African, Eastern European & Asian song & dance performances.

DeoraĂ­ The Wanderer with Fanzini from 10pm-12am on the Streets of Di**le
The artists Con Horgan and Hannes Jung have created a new piece
of street theatre. Hannes is going to create a pyro suit. With this suit, he can be on fire (safely!) looking around town. The reason behind the act is that Fanzini is interested in asking questions
