Another busy week for LTC.
Edel Nolan tore around the Dublin Women's Mini Marthon with incredible speedy time.
Club members took to Tarmon for swimming on Monday.
Our cyclist braved the weather on Thursday
Congratulations to Sinead Smith & Ciaran Nugent who took part in Brian Boro Triathlon in Clare .
Another triumph for the unstoppable Eiviltas Evan Quigley who came 2nd in the Adventure Racing Ireland in Di**le.
We had 7 brave members on our Club Cycle this morning dispite the wind & rain.
Congratulations to Rohan Jangam , Shona Ni Maitiu & Padraic McWeeney who all took part in the Windmill Wheelers Sportif in Elfin this morning
Another outstanding achievement for our Marathon Phenomena Edel O Hanlon who placed another Marathon under her belt competing the Portumna Forest Marathon.
Julia Radave was at it again this weekend taking part in Hell & Back. Well done Julia.💪
Training continues tomorrow with swimming in Tarmon

**Please note:** There is only one distance option available on the Triathlon Ireland registration page. Simply register for the **Sprint Distance** and let us know on the evening whether you'll be doing the **750m swim** or the **200m swim** option.

Wow, what a weekend of events for the club.
The Tour de Conamara cycle took place Saturday and we had Margaret Gallagher, Mary Corkery & Paula Tanner take part in the 80k and Brendan Doyle & Rohan Jangam in the 150k.🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️
Down the road in Lough Cultra we covered an array of distances. Special shout out to Jules Ledwith who won the 1.6k swim 💪🎉 Marie Devlin Clyne & Kate Sexton also flew the 1.6k swim and Rita Moran & Shona Ni Maitiu took part in the 2.5k swim 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️
Ann Gilna competed in the Sprint AquaBike 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️ and Barry Hall took part in the Sprint Aquathon🏊‍♀️🏃‍♂️.
Geraldine Brady took part in her first OW Super Sprint 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️and Edel Nolan & Fiona Higgins both took part in their first Starter Tri. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️
Eiviltas Evan Quigley smashed it in the Boyne Adventure Race Running Cycling Kayaking Cycling & Running his way to the finish line 💪🏃‍♂️🚴‍♀️🛶🚴‍♀️🏃‍♂️
Mel French flew the Club flag over in the Wells City Festival of Running 10k race , bagging herself a PB .🏃‍♀️
Our resident Forest Gump Edel O Hanlon has another Marathon in the bag, this week completing the Clare Burren Marathon Challenge 👏💪🏃‍♀️
One day was not enough for Rita Moran , today she took to Athy for the 2k swim 🏊‍♀️
Joining her in Athy we had Julia Radave who swam the 1.5k distance.🏊‍♀️
Training continues tomorrow as we hit Keeldra for our OW swim.

What a busy week of training , racing & podiums for the Club!
Monday saw lots of our members joining the FTD Brothers as they conpleted their Longford Marathon as part of their 32 marathons in 32 counties in 32 days. Well done in particular to Maggie Smith & Shona Ni Maitiu who ran the whole distance.
We had record numbers out for our OW Swim in Keeldra Lake on Monday evening.
Tuesday was Speed Interval night with Brendan Doyle Running / Longford AC folllowed by pliates with Kate Sexton .
Wednesday we took to the hills for our cycle with some up & overs followed by a brick run.
Thursday we took to the waters again with a great session with Jules Ledwith in Lough Ree .
Pool swimming continued on a Friday evening .
Saturday was a busy day with lots of our members doing their LSR or joining the Longford parkrun 10 year celebrations.
Congratulations to Rita Moran who nabbed 1st place in her category in the 3.5k Gaelforce Events swim in Lanesborgh.
Sunday was our Club Spin followed by the obligatory tea & treats.
We had lots of our members taking part in the Corn Hill Challenge 5k , 10k & 10 mile races. Special shout out to Caroline Casey who was 2nd female back in the 10 mile race and to Eiviltas Evan Quigley who came in 3rd place in the 10 mile.
Our very own Superwoman Maggie Smyth was back at it today coming in 5th place in the Clondalkin Half Marathon.
Straight back at it tomorrow and into another week of training , competing , racing & tea .🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️🫖☕️
