The eurovelo 1 cycle route that's marked all the way from nordkapp in Norway to Portugal now goes right past our gate. If you're a cyclist we have undercover parking for your bikes and high pressure showers for the muscles.

Dusty has been living on the Clare coast now for 20 years and has a habit of moving bases every five year or so. It's great to see her back on the beach beside us. I met her myself this week while out fishing. Hopefully she'll stay the summer with us again. Such a privilege to have her visit us.

We were lucky enough to see around 100 of these this summer, now that was out of the ordinary but it's worth keeping an eye on the water during your hikes - you might get lucky.

Not all paths are equal 😉 . Slow down and take the time to hike the 12km trail that follows the length of the cliff of moher - it's worth it. Not only is the in view of the house but we can let you know where's best to park, eat, direction to do it in, see the puffin, find the father Ted scene location, Harry Potter's cave and more.

A nice drone shot of the cliffs of moher. Last year it saw 1.6million visitors - this year not so much 😉. Now it is so quite it is the time to go explore it yourself. They are just across the bay and in view of Blue Horizons.
