We have good news!

After four weeks WITHOUT a telephone line we are delighted to announce that it has finally been restored.

It is a testament to our staff's resilience and fortitude that they have managed to run a hotel and restaurant with the phone line down!

It's also a testament to our customers faithfulness that we have made it through using email and a temporary phone number

Guys, it's hard to believe that our phone lines are still down despite living in this modern age. It is exasperating to say the least.

It doesn't affect our regular customers of course, who come on a daily/weekly/Sunday basis.

However, it is bound to affect those who are trying to contact us to make bookings for parties etc.

Like all other businesses in the town we are putting the welfare and safety of our staff and customers as paramount as we face a storm of serious magnitude tomorrow!

We never know how these storms will play out in reality of course and our current plan is, like many other service businesses in town is to open at one o clock p.m.

If you would like to confirm that we are open at that time, please call 045 879145 and we can let you know exactly what's happening, provided there are no power outages or telephone lines down.

All going well, we can offer lunch as usual.

It's almost the 99th day of January and the skies are a bit on the grey side!

So, taking that into account, we thought we would post our menu for today and tomorrow!

Now, remember all our food is sourced locally here in Naas. We are very particular about that. So, for example all our fresh fruit and vegetables come from Fruit 4 U .That's how you maintain business in a town and keep our beautiful clean and tidy town thriving.

We are grateful for Tidy Towns Naas, Co. Kildare and all the work that they do.

We endeavour to keep our prices reasonable at all times, factoring in that prices of most things have gone through the roof!

We have a lovely team of chefs who will endeavour to do their best for you.

Even our breads are made on the premises by an artisan baker.

We don't do chandeliers because you can't eat them!

But we are known for good solid food, reasonable prices and our regulars have become our friends.

You can have a three course meal for 22 euros.
Or just separate courses broken down as you wish.
Fresh vegetable soup daily, coffees and sambos too.
Our desserts are made on the premises... traditional and delicious.

So, come on in! A warm welcome awaits you.

I know this menu is a little difficult to read but trust us, it's all good! All the favourites are there.

Shhh! The chef let it slip but the turkey doesn't know!

The turkey thinks it's a ham dinner here on Sunday but it's turkey and ham with all the delicious trimmings.

Sundays just got tastier!

Three course lunch 24 euros on Sundays.

Example:

Starter: Potato skins with bacon and cheese
Main: Roast Irish beef and all the trimmings
Dessert: Berry cheesecake

All our food is sourced locally.
