We pride ourselves on serving our guests a tasty breakfast, made with the freshest of products and locally sourced. Our garden has many fruit shrubs laden with berries & currants every summer, we don’t use sprays in the garden, just let Mother Nature work it’s magic giving us a variety of fruit for jam making. Our latest batch is Blackcurrant which is full of flavour & what better way to enjoy than with my freshly baked scones every morning. &Breakfast

Willowbrook B&B is shining bright for Christmas 2023. Our Christmas decoration collection started over 30 years ago when Tom & I became a couple. Gifts from family & friends remind us every year of all our live journeys over the 3 decades. Decorations from our holiday destinations & shopping trips, A gift of a Angel from someone very special, decorations purchased in beautiful places. At Willowbrook B&B we aim to do our bit for the environment. Zero miles, no sprays, well rotted farmyard manure & a little bit of work provides us with fruit & vegetables for a few months. The bees 🐝 have food and work their pollination magic and we enjoy listening to happily humming bees and watching them take a nap in the flower blooms.

Our garden is not a show garden but a collection of plants & ornamental pieces from family, friends & guests. Many plants have been with me since childhood and bring back memories of places & people that will always have a place in my heart. It’s now such a pleasure to see guests walk through the garden & spot flowers from their past.

Nenagh is a great base for visitors wanting to take day trips to main attractions, within an hours drive of Willowbrook.
Birr Castle Demesne offers garden visits, Guided tours of the Castle and new for 2023 is an Engineering Trail.
A totally different experience is Bunratty Castle & Folk Park which features over 30 buildings in a living village and rural setting set on 26 acres. Visit the on site Shannon Irish Design Gift Store while visiting Bunratty.
Adare is a pretty heritage village dating back to 1200 A.D, with thatched cottages, stone buildings, medieval monasteries and ruins.

Tom & I would be very happy to share our knowledge of the attractions which may be of interest to visitors.

Come visit North Tipperary and surrounding counties of Clare, Limerick, Galway & Offaly...

SUMMER 2023 IN NENAGH.....

The garden birds are still hatching new chicks and getting up to more mischief. They cleared all the red currants before we got to net them and are now eyeing up the blueberries and blackcurrants.
Newsflash to the Birds the remaining berries are for jam making and the breakfast buffet.

The garden is going through its flowering cycle and therefore something new every day, it's fantastic to see bees covered in pollen move from flower to flower. Nature is wonderful and a few minutes among the flowers helps get us through the day.

In house we have made a few changes to our breakfast menu which include a warm salad with Tipperary black pudding and ham or bacon, Old favourites like the Pancakes are still on the menu served with warm fruit berries, fresh fruit or Tipperary bacon and drizzled with maple syrup.
