We are delighted to have reopened our doors last Wednesday and look forward to welcoming old friends and new faces during the season ahead. Incredibly Currarevagh has been welcoming guests since 1845 and more unbelievably 140 years later it is still in and run by the Hodgson family, as you can see above the drawing room as it was and as it is now. Also a picture of the house and a brochure from 1900. Guests would often take the train from Euston and 11 hours later arrive in Oughterard for their all inclusive stay quite like today's idea of 'club med'!
