WE ARE BACK OPEN…..

For the remainder of this week we will be open from 12.30 to 8pm, serving lunch and evening meals Monday to Sunday.

On MONDAY 24th JANUARY we will be opening at the earlier time of 10.30am - serving Breakfast and continuing on with Lunch and Evening Meals throughout the day.

Hoping that restrictions will be lifted soon, we hope to return to pre covid hours - Monday to Sunday - as soon as we get the green light.

We would like to thank all our customers for your continued support over the last two years during these very difficult times. It is very much appreciated by all of us.

Also a big THANK YOU to our amazing staff who have worked extremely hard under these circumstances over the last year - each and everyone of you have been exceptional in keeping the Abbey Tavern maintaining its high standards, friendly atmosphere, and GREAT SERVICE. It would not be the place it is without you.

Roll on 2022 - and hopefully goodbye to Covid 19.

Due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding Covid-19 and close contacts, resulting in staff shortages and absences.
We will be closed at the end of business 8pm this evening until Monday 17th January.
Our kitchen will re-open serving food on Tuesday 18th January.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We would also like to thank each and everyone of you for your tremendous support during these difficult times.

Dear customers,
As we return to indoor dining/ drinking from tomorrow 26th July- we would like to welcome you all back to the Abbey Tavern, we have missed you all so much.

Following the guidelines released, we unfortunately will be operating under the following guidelines:
•Reservations will be taken by phone or email:
[email protected]
Tel: 065-6825525
• All customers must provide relevant proof on arrival that they are over 18, that you are fully vaccinated or recovered from Covid-19, along with photo ID if you wish to dine indoors.
• Under 18’s who are accompanied by a parent / guardian in an indoor setting, currently do not require proof of immunity.
•Without the above - entry will be refused.
•All guests must fill out Contact Tracing forms on arrival before being allocated a table.

Our hours during these restrictions are as follows:

MONDAY - SATURDAY
• Bar: 12 noon - 11pm (premises to be cleared by 11:30pm)
•Food: 12:30pm - 8:30pm (last sitting 8:15pm)

SUNDAY
•Bar: 12 noon - 11pm (premises to be cleared by 11:30pm)
•Food: 12:30pm - 8pm (last sitting 7:45pm)

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate everyone with the new guidelines but hopefully it is a step towards a return to normal times.
