Located in a beautifully, scenic part of Ireland on the Carlow/Kildare/Wicklow border, overlooking Mount Leinster, Rings Coach House Retreat is the perfect destination for a retreat of any kind. Or simply a good place to stop if you are travelling around and visiting the area. Set on 2 acres of mature garden with magnificent old trees, the former Rectory was originally built in the early 1800s as

a dower house to the neighbouring Lisnavagh Estate. The coach houses have been renovated, decorated and furnished to make you feel at home and enable you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The first house has a large en suite double room, with a wood burning stove and a sofa bed. There is another double room and also a single room, both of which share a bathroom. Downstairs there is a large kitchen and living room, which also has a wood burning stove. The second house, ideal for a couple, has a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs with a kitchen / living room downstairs. Both houses enjoy beautiful views of the garden. Everything you need to make up a leisurely breakfast is provided, including homemade bread, cake and jams.

Unforgettable.. such a quaint place!
I loved everything about this place!! Annette the owner was so accommodating from once she received our booking to check out! She greeted us on arrival and was so genuine. She even dropped us to our event! The apartment was so cute, it had a rustic country feel to it. It had everything we needed. Annette had left us some homemade brown bread, homemade cake and fresh free range eggs along with our breakfast! Bed was so comfy and apartment was so cosy I could have stayed for a week! My partner and I said we would love to go back again for a little longer.. such a reasonable price for what we received and it was spotless! Highly recommend!!!

Thanks to Bernadette for your lovely review, and thanks to Slaney Bend for supplying the wonderful fresh eggs that everyone loves!!

We visited with friends for a family wedding and had a really wonderful stay . Annette and Marcelo made us all feel very welcome and went beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a great stay including helping us get around the local area. The cottage is lovely. As the weather was a little bit chilly Marcelo lit the wood burning stove which made the living room a lovely place to relax in and read. The fridge was packed with high quality artisan breakfast food ( sausages, bacon , puddings, yoghurts , butter and fresh local eggs. In addition to this Annette had made home made jams , baked brown bread , biscuits and mini cakes whilst Marcelo dropped in some delicious home made ice cream he made with local eggs - phenomenal hospitality and generosity! Their children were charming and mostly invisible and the two sheep dogs were truly adorable. Overall this was a fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it.
