A rare sight in our skies these days... obviously on route to the USA and what a beautiful day to be looking down on Ireland......looking forward to the returning flights again.

It with a heavy heart that we’ve had to contact all our guests over the next few weeks asking them to cancel or rebook where possible. Most were very happy to do so and in fairness had planned to contact us nearer the time.
We said goodbye to our last guests at the weekend, an America family who unfortunately got caught up in all this....stressed, worried and anxious to get home. Saddened by what’s happening but really enjoying the Irish countryside and beautiful scenery.
We hope all will improve soon or Easter will also have to be cancelled.

Coronavirus, school closures, postponements.... That’s all the talk now but for many of us the show must go on 😊.
I will welcome many guests through my door over the next few months and although I’ll be a little nervous naturally, and I’ll be sick cleaning come the end of season it’s my job to welcome them with a foot shake, talk with them and introduce them to the many wonderful sights Sligo has to offer. Many have this trip booked for months and are looking forward to it. But this is my family home and things will change slightly, cleaning will have stepped up a mark with special cleaners for different areas, alcohol wipes for handles and keys etc... hand washing is a priority for everyone with soaps supplied, there will be no buffet ( you can eat it all but I’ll serve it to you) 😊and the tables will have appropriate spacing. We will be asking guests that are unwell to inform us so we can apply necessary procedures ensuring they still enjoy their stay here in Sligo.I hope we can work together to keep each other safe.
