Seaside Session 5
Today we bring you just off our coast, to see up close these majestic and friendly basking sharks who have been visiting close to shore this week, as it’s ‘Poetry Day Ireland’ today we have accompanied this with 'Basking Shark' by Norman MacCaig.
We are dedicating it to all our wedding couples who have had their plans disrupted, and in particular to Maria, our would be bride today who was due to marry Philip, but instead has just finished 7 night shifts in ICU limerick. To you and your colleagues across the health service we salute you. To all the couples who have had your days postponed, we remain here to support in any way we can, we are in this together.
