May “Photo” Dump…

Whenever I put a carousel together, I realise how little I take photos these days.. since reels came into existence all I seem to take is video clips. Still gorgeous, however.

We were closed for most of May, while I continued to recuperate from my total hip replacement. It’s been really lovely to enjoy the place quietly and mostly to ourselves, despite the circumstances. Recovery has certainly not been linear… it’s a process for sure. If you know me well you know I’m not one to sit still, and of course on the good days I do too much and pay for it in the days following. I am learning the hard way to slow down.

The place feels lush and a little wild in parts. The greenhouse, with my customised high benches, has been a huge source of comfort and solace over the past couple of months.

Despite all, I’ve still managed to help a new born foal nurse at 3 am, hosted a couple of workshops, get a recent project completed and welcome some really, really lovely guests.

April 🌼 it’s been a bit of a month for us here. We said goodbye to our gorgeous little mare, Legan Grace in sad circumstances and I finally had my total right hip replacement last week. The daffodils and sunshine providing much needed hope, inspiration and brightening days up for us.
