The Maol Reidh is just a few minutes walk from the beach and is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, on Connemara's rugged coast. Just 10 minutes’ drive will get you to any number of beaches, to Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park and Killary Harbour. This charming seaside hotel enjoys views of the Connemara & Mayo Mountains, local boglands, and the ocean while been located in a country village setting.We offer modern, stylish rooms, free WiFi in all areas, a cosy lounge and an excellent restaurant and bar.
Our Iasc restaurant is proud to serve local fare, ranging from Leenane mountain lamb, west coast beef and local seafoods. We are delighted to work with local growers such as John Ward of Dooncastle Oysters, Bernard King who rears organic Leenane mountain lamb, Martys Mussels which are harvested along Killary harbour and Gabriels Aran Island goats cheese to name but a few. We pride ourselves on our morning feast -breakfast, it is important to get your day off to a good start.
Each spacious bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, a TV, dvd player, an iron, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.We have a library of books and films to pass away the restful hours.
