We were delighted to welcome the Co. Wexford Garden and Flower Club to visit the gardens in Rosegarland Estate. Over 80 members spent an enjoyable afternoon inspecting years of hard work which have gone into restoring the gardens. None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of Joe Berney who has been the main person behind this restoration. €730 was raised on the day for Wexford Hospice Homecare.

Ophelia wreaked havoc in Rosegarland with over 30 mature trees, many of which were very old beech and oak trees torn down. Our garden was also hit and there was damage to several of our old outbuildings. A very sad sight.

Our annual Harvest Ride will take place next weekend on 20 and 21 August from 10 am until 5 pm. This ride includes our normal bridle path ride with miles of extra riding around our tillage fields. Approximately 10.5 km in total. This is a great opportunity to ride in these fields before they are sown again. Relax with a cup of tea/coffee afterwards. Enquiries: 087 2478317
