Stunning walks in the area and only 4 minutes drive to nearest sandy beach, plus many more stunning beaches in close driving proximity. Yippee...the Cuckoo has arrived back in Murrisk on 18 April....probably waiting for the 5km travel ban to lift before travelling! 😀The cuckoo is always a welcome visitor to this area at this time of the year each year....it’s absolutely joyous to hear its distinctive hollow wooden sounding ‘Cu- Ckoo ’! 🐦 ❤️

This was ‘The Rolling Sun of Boheh’ phenomenon I was lucky enough to experience 2 years ago on a clear 18 April evening - its where the setting sun has the appearance of rolling down the northern side of Croagh Patrick. It hapoens twice yearly - 18 April and 24 August if the weather is clear! ❤️ @ Croagh Patrick
