Akkotel - Boutique hotel A Boutique Hotel built as part of the Acre's old city walls. Akkotel building, as a Historical Monument, is located inside part of the wall.

You can see the wall inside the Boutique when you pass to the older part of the building. It was cut and maintained nicely for you to see in the lobby area and in the room floors. It is nearby the land gate, the only entrance to the Old City during the Ottman period. Akkotel is very close to the Beach, Market and Port (2-10 minutes walk). hich afford you calmness and privacy. Each room is uniquely redesigned to be warm and comfortable; at the same time, maintains the old stoned arches that are kept for you to experience the ancient spirit.

As the magic of the walls and the history of the buildings mixes with the harmony of the harp, a new experience come alive.

Nowadays, the old city of Acre is hosting the "The 19th International Harp Contest" for the first time. The competition includes participants from all over the world under the examining eyes of world’s leading harpists Susann McDonald and other international jury harp experts.

Akkotel Boutiqe Hotel is welcoming this uniqueness and hosting the JURY staff for the whole period.

בית מלון בוטיק עכוטל הוכרז כזוכה בפרסי תחרות השירות הטוב ביותר והעסקה הטובה ביותר על ידי טריפ אדוויזר (TripAdvisor) בתחרות הבחירה של התיירים 2012. טריפ אדוויזר (TripAdvisor) הוא אתר התיירות הגדול בעולם, המאפשר לתיירים לתכנן את הטיול שלהם לפי יותר מ-60 מיליון ביקורות אמינות ומאומתות מתיירים מכל רחבי העולם. פרס "בחירת התיירים" הוא הפרס הכי מכובד שבית-מלון יכול לקבל מקהילת טריפ אדוויזר (TripAdvisor). הוא מבוסס על ביקורות ודעות של מיליוני תיירים ומוענק לקבוצה מובחרת ביותר של בתי מלון.

עכוטל הוא בית מלון בוטיק הממוקם כחלק מהחומה של עכו העתיקה, הוא פועל משנת 2007 וזכה כבר לארח תיירים מכל העולם ואנשים חשובים מאוד כגון שחקני קולנוע מפורסמים, אנשי תקשורת, פוליטיקאים בכירים וסגל דיפלומאטי. לאחרונה התארח במלון נשיא המדינה שמעון פרס.
בבית המלון 16 חדרי אירוח, מהם 2 סוויטות, 5 חדרים משפחתיים והשאר חדרים זוגיים. כל אחד מהחדרים הינו בעל עיצוב שונה וייחודי. במסעדת בית המלון מוגשות ארוחות ברמה גבוהה ולפי דרישות האורחים, במקום מתקיימים אירועים משפחתיים וכנסים. בית המלון מנוהל על ידי משפחת מורני המאמינה באירוח אישי וחמים לפי אמות המידה הגבוהות ביותר. בית המלון משלב בכישרון רב את ההיסטוריה והמודרניזציה יחדיו.
הבניין של הבית מלון נבנה במאה ה18 על ידי הממשל העותומאני כחלק בלתי נפרד מהחומה המקורית של עכו העתיקה. הבניין שימש כמושב קצינים ואנשי מכס שפיקחו על שער היבשה - בזמנו הכניסה היבשתית היחידה לעיר העתיקה. לאחר מלחמת העולם הראשונה הבניין נהפך לבית ספר לבנים של עכו והאזור על ידי השלטון המנדטורי. מאז קום המדינה עד 1995 הבניין שימש כבית משפט השלום של עכו והאזור. הבניין שמוצהר כבניין לשימור נרכש בשנת 2000 על ידי משפחת מורני, עבר תהליך של שיקום ושיפוץ כללי והתחיל לתפקד כבית מלון ב 2007.
