I am a ceramic designer and my studio specializes in artisan tableware. In the last couple of years I have developed a collection of handmade dishes that are custom made for chefs of restaurants as well as boutique hotels both in durability and design. The prototype is shaped by hand and so are the mold (press mold for the flat dishes and slip casting molds for tall designs). as well as each piece

that is released from the mold is altered by hand keeps the design similar giving each piece its unique character. The studio is located in Jaffa where I design and manufacture my work. Keeping the production in- house allows me to stay loyal to the material and the final product.as well as to develop private collections for chefs and private customers. In my work I am inspired by nature and esthetics. I merge classic and organic designs into my dishes while putting an emphasis on fine cuisine. I use imported Dutch clay packed with basalt grains for texture and rust. Or fine French porcelain for smooth and transparent surface. Both materials fired to 1230 degree c. The glazes are mixed and prepared in- house thus allowing me to achieve a wide range of color and texture result I desire. Adi Nissani

I share how my journey from wanting to work with food led me to study ceramics at Bezalel, and how I discovered that working with clay is surprisingly similar to working with dough. I talk about how people constantly ask if we sell pastries at the studio, which inspired me to blend both worlds by creating pastry structures. I walk through the entire process - from the menu to mixing ingredients to baking - and highlight what makes fresh-baked goods truly special: that irresistible smell coming straight from the oven.

The New & exiting Fish Tray
שהתחלתי לעבוד על הסדרה של מאובנים, ידעתי שאני רוצה כלי כזה, משעשע כמעט שיכול להשתלב בכל ארוחה..
כלי כזה, שאין בשום מקום אחר.
ואין מה לעשות, עם כל הכבוד לחגים, אנחנו עדין באמצע הקייץ ואין כמו מנת דג קלילה בימות הקיץ החמים..
בכל אופן תוך כדי שאני יוצרת את הצלחת הזו, עלה לי בנאדם אחד בראש, שהוא פשוט חייב חייב שתהיה לו הצלחת הזו!!
בריל הבא אני אחשוף את האיש הזה שיודע לעשות פלאים עם דגים.. - שפשוט היתי חייבת לראות מה הוא יעשה עם הצלחת הזו..
יודעים לנחש מי זה?
ואיזה מנה הייתם עושים על הצלחת הזו?
יאללה- שנהיה לראש ולא לזנב!!

How to make Garlic grater- Step by step 1-6

Soo Last month I posted a video of this perfect handmade must have product and it just went viral.
So many questions came up so I decided to post this territorial of how I made them step by step..

🎯 Slab- I use a very thin but ordinary kitchen rolling pin, every couple of minutes I flip it over so it won’t stick till I get to the thickness I desire. and then I tear the edges to get this organic feel.

🎯 Molding & Throwing - once the slab is in the right shape I throw it on a mold - I use either plaster molds that I make or a 3D printed one.

🎯 ⁠marking & Engraving- I use a ceramic needle while the hand wheel is spinning to get a spiral mark so that the engraving of the clay will get the spiral look and prevent negative marks. The second tool had a ball shaped finish- this part must be done before the piece hits leather hard- so that the clay will smoothly move the direction you desire.

🎯 Piercing the holes -once the piece hits leader hard I pierce the holes - I use a special tool but you can use any round shaped stick like a pencil or so..

🎯 The final product - I always fire to 1220 degree Celsius, I use an electric kiln and on these pieces I chose really rough white clay with over 5% grains. The glaze I use is white crackle- always home recipe!!!

🎯 The final product- I really like this piece!! It’s really easy to make and really fun to use! My pieces go in the dishwasher so that makes them very easy to clean!
