So for the first time in years we have an abundance of time. Time to consider and time to improve. Lots of guests are writing to us to say how much they think of us and so I thought I would say what we are up to here too. Apart from escaping into the wadi sometimes to enjoy the beautiful Spring.. we at home have done lots of homemade projects, artwork, thinking of new ideas for the garden ...maybe change the fire circle, what plants to put in, new wall colours, fixing up the zimmers.

Making Supertonic, braiding our 30 kg of garlic, making zhug, jachnun with a neighbour, and a lot of eating... Though the country is in crisis there are positive things like the Seas of Galilee full for the highest since 1992 and the Negev has been so green.

Over the years we have met many interesting people through our hosting at Desert Rose. This week, we got to chat with Peter who leads this band in Canada. We had a good time chatting with him over a glass of red wine.

At the nexus of jazz, blues and rock lies Steely Dan, the musicians' band. Pretzel Logic is a ten-piece band dedicated to the exploration and rendition of the music of the Dan. What began as a labor of love continues as such....
