טאנרנקאן דוג'ו הוקם בפברואר 2016. בראש הדוג'ו עומד סנסיי עינב פרידמן, בעל ניסיון של למעלה מ-17 שנה באמנות האייקידו. אייקידו (合気道) הינה אמנות לחימה יפנית שפותחה ע"י מוריהיי אואשיבה "או-סנסיי" ("המורה הגדול") באמצע המאה ה-20. שיטה זו מתבססת על עקרונות מנטליים ופיסיים עמוקים של שליטה במרכז הגוף, תיעול אנרגיה (קי 気), והשתלבות (איי 合) עם תנועת ואנרגיית התוקף, תוך שימוש בב
ריחים והטלות. מכאן משמעות השם אייקידו - "דרך ההרמוניה עם האנרגיה".
משמעות המלה טאנרן (鍛錬) ביפנית היא "אימון", "חישול", "הקשחה"', "משמוע" ואף "קידוח". כלומר, מדובר בעיצוב וחישול של דבר-מה מתוך השקעת מאמץ, ובמשמעות מטאפורית - חישולו ועיצובו מחדש של האדם לכדי מטרה מסוימת, מתוך אימון אינטנסיבי ומאמץ רב. השם טאנרנקאן (鍛錬館) - "היכל החישול" - משקף את נחישותנו "לחשל" ולעצב את האייקידוקא - ההולך בדרך האייקידו - בהתאם לעקרונותיה של אמנות האייקידו באמצעות אימון שקדני, השקעה ומאמץ, תוך הקפדה על ביצוע מדויק של טכניקות האייקידו ככלי העיקרי להפנמת עקרונות השיטה.
עינב פרידמן סנסיי
עינב עוסק באייקידו מאז שנת 1999. עד שנת 2005 היה תלמידו של סת סומר סנסיי (דאן 5) בסגנון סיידוקאן אייקידו, ומאז שנת 2005 נעשה לתלמידו הבכיר ביותר של סנסיי מיילס קסלר (דאן 6, אייקיקאי) ואחד המורים הבכירים ב-Integral Dojo בתל-אביב. במהלך השנים השתתף עינב בסדנאות רבות עם שלל מורי אייקידו מהארץ ומהעולם, ואף ביקר ביפן. בפברואר 2017 הקים עינב ביחד עם כמה מתלמידיו את טאנרנקן דוג'ו בתל-אביב.

אוס! Tanrenkan Dojo was established in February 2017. The dojo is headed by Einav Friedman Sensei, who has more than 17 years of experience in the art of aikido. Aikido (合気道) is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba “O-Sensei” (“the Great Teacher”) during the middle decades of the 20th century. Aikido is based on deep mental and physical principles of controlling the body center, channeling of energy (Ki 気), and blending (Ai 合) with the movement and energy of the attacker, while applying locks and throws. Hence the meaning of the name “Aikido” can be translated as “the way of harmonizing with energy”. Tanrenkan Dojo
The Japanese word Tanren (鍛錬) can be translated as “training”, “forging”, “disciplining”, “hardening” and “drilling”, among other things. “Tanren” then refers to the shaping and forging of something through the exertion of intense effort, and metaphorically - to the forging and reshaping of the individual toward a certain goal, out of intensive training and considerable effort. The name “Tanrenkan” then, reflects our determination to “forge” and train the aikidoka (a person following the path of aikido) in accordance with the principles of the art of aikido through diligent training and the investment of time and effort, while emphasizing the sharp and accurate execution of aikido techniques as the main tool for understanding and mastering the principles of the art. Einav Sensei has been practicing aikido since 1999. Until 2005 Einav studied under Seth Sommer Sensei (5th dan) in the Seidokan style of aikido in Tel-Aviv. Since 2005 Einav became the oldest and most senior student of Miles Kessler Sensei (6th dan, Aikikai) and one of the senior teachers at Integral Dojo Tel-Aviv. During his years of practice Einav has participated in numerous seminars with various teachers from Israel and abroad, and also visited Japan.
