४. असत्य न बोलने का धर्मादेश ग्रहण करो I
५. मध्यपान न करने का धर्मादेश ग्रहण करो I
 
*अष्टांगिक मार्ग
१.    सम्यक दृष्टि ( अंधविश्वास तथा भ्रम से रहित ) I
२.    सम्यक संकल्प ( उच्च तथा बुद्धियुक्त ) I
३.    सम्यक वचन (नम्र , उन्मुक्त, सत्यनिष्ठ ) I
४.    सम्यक कर्मान्त ( शांतिपूर्ण, निष्ठापूर्ण, पवित्र ) I
५.    सम्यक आजीविका ( किसी भी प्राणी को हानि या आघात न पहुँचाना ) I
६.    सम्यक व्यायाम ( आत्मा प्रशिक्षण एवं आत्मा निग्रह हेतु ) I
७.    सम्यक स्मृति ( सक्रिय सचेत मन ) I
८.    सम्यक समाधि ( जीवन की यथार्थता पर गहन ध्यान )  I
