Khazaana Adventures is the inspiration of Stephanie Parashar, a trained Social Worker from New Zealand. Stephanie began running tours in India in 1996, working as a Tour Guide and later Operations Manager for Intrepid Travel between 1998 and 2006. Stephanie has been married to a Rajasthani for nine years, and has a daughter, born in Delhi in 2006. Stephanie has also studied many forms of meditation both in India and New Zealand, and has taught many workshops and courses relating to spiritual subjects. Her India base is Pushkar, a picturesque holy town right in the middle of the Rajasthan desert, situated beside a lake, and surrounded by the Aravali mountain range. Pushkar is an oasis, providing a perfect sanctuary from the rigours of Indian travel. The town is host to the annual Pushkar Camel Fair held every year around the Full Moon in November. Stephanie and her team bring their passion, more than fifteen years experience of travel and touring in India, amazing local contacts and networks, an eco-spiritual perspective, and an extensive knowledge of India to create their specialised tours. Khazaana means “treasure.”
Khazaana Adventures is the inspiration of Stephanie Parashar, a trained Social Worker from New Zealand. Stephanie began running tours in India in 1996, working as a Tour Guide and later Operations Manager for Intrepid Travel between 1998 and 2006.
Stephanie has been married to a Rajasthani for nine years, and has a daughter, born in Delhi in 2006. She is also trained in Reiki and Indian massage and has studied and read tarot cards for over twenty years. Stephanie has also studied many forms of meditation both in India and New Zealand, and has taught many workshops and courses relating to spiritual subjects.

Many tour companies use their own private buses and cars. Khazaana Adventures provide a more interactive experience, travelling wherever possible on local varieties of transport....metro, rickshaw, autos, buses, boats, trains, carts, and don’t forget camels and elephants! The trips are designed to take time to walk through the lanes and streets completely absorbing the atmosphere and of course meeting and getting to know the locals along the way.
Our itineraries aim to offer visitors to India as much variety and experience as possible. Most days will involve guided group sightseeing and touring, but there will also be opportunities to explore on your own.
After a busy day of travelling and absorbing India it is important to have somewhere comfortable to rest and rejuvenate, the accommodation is carefully chosen for its charm, comfort, location, and of course friendliness.
