Walk to Himalayas invites you to experience the unparalleled beauty of Uttarakhand at the Kosi Valley Retreat, Simkholi. The towering ancient trees, enchanting chorus of forest birds, mystical Kosi flowing beside, engulfed in thick forest and dense green foliage gave her an enigmatic character.

Kosi Village Retreat is situated midway from Almora to Kausani in Simkholi. Simkholi is situated a distance of 30 km from Almora and 18 km from Kausani.

Kosi Village Retreat is a beautiful hotel made of natural stones and pebbles. The materials used are mostly local and are environment friendly. It is perched on the bank of a Kosi river formed by the melting snow of the Himalayas. The property has a spacious feel. There are 4 bedrooms and with en suite bathrooms and a common Living and dining room. All bedrooms have a balcony giving enchanting view of the forest and river.

We have lovingly worked around the theme of “peace” while bringing to life our cherished dream, a place where you can be at peace with yourself and the outside world in a tranquil and soothing environment. You will love to unwind in the abundant outdoor lounging space, while reading a book or just sitting by the river or clicking the beautiful Himalayan birds or just sitting around the camp fire in the night with light local music in the background.
