Sighting update .

While core areas are closed for tourism currently, Khapa buffer is definitely proving to be value for money.

T 72 and T88 yesterday morning, our cyclist group saw them in evening as well.

And you thought it's not possible to see a tiger in monsoon that too in buffer.... Jungle is always full of sury as always.

Running a wildlife lodge is not about ARR, occupancy and profitability only.

It is a commitment towards providing an authentic experience to guests, it is about committing to minimalistic intrusion in natural environment by adopting to sustainable practices and also engage, employ and benefit local communities.

We truly understand our responsibility as custodian of this wonderful ecosystem and all the wonderful people we share this paradise with.

Our organic farm Camp Dev Vilas provides alternative means of livelihood to 15 women from neighbouring villages. In addition to more disposable income it does provide them confidence and a sense of empowerment.

She and her boys have kept the sighting charts ticking for Kanha this season, we wish a safe monsoon to this family and hoping to see the mother again as boys will be forced to move out in search of their own territory.
