“She smiled outside the home after many months… and her mother smiled even more.” 💙
On 05 March 2026, Voice of Needy Foundation (VNF) took children with disabilities and their parents to Bal Bhavan with support from Polaris Inc..
For many parents caring for children with severe disabilities, even a simple outing is rare. Daily caregiving often keeps families inside their homes, leaving very little time for recreation or happiness outside.
At the park, children explored the disability-friendly play area, enjoyed boating, toy train rides, and spent joyful time with other children. Slowly, hesitation turned into smiles, laughter, and confidence 🌿
One mother shared:
"Along with my child, even I enjoyed today. We have never gone outside like this before because caring for my child keeps us at home."
Another parent said:
"Today I saw my child smiling and enjoying with other children in a way I had never seen before."
One father reflected:
"I used to suffer thinking about my child, but today after seeing many children facing bigger challenges, I feel stronger."
Sometimes a single day outside becomes more than an outing — it brings relief to parents, happiness to children, and hope to families ✨
