The long tail magpies are opportunistic omnivores and we had suspected for a long time that this one waited for dogs to finish food every evening so that it could take scraps. So today we put a piece out and this happened. Do you think we should put out chicken bits for it everyday? We do feed kangni tosparrows and smaller ones here.

What we absolutely love about our place is the team's enthusiasm. The place was abuzz today with the discovery of a plum tree ready to be harvested, and so the chef hopped and skipped to the place and now we have bowl full of yummy plums.
