महाशिवरात्रि के मौके पर केदारनाथ के कपाट खुलने की तिथि घोषित कर दी गई। धाम के कपाट आगामी तीन मई को सुबह 8 बजकर 50 मिनट पर आम दर्शनों के लिए खोल दिए जाएंगे।

चार धामों में से एक बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट छह मई को प्रातः 4 बजे श्रृद्धालुओं के लिए खोल दिए जायेंगे। बुधवार को नरेंद्रनगर स्थित टिहरी राजमहल में टिहरी के राजपुरोहित ने ज्योतिषीय गणना कर यह तिथि घोषित की।
