The stained glass tradition dates back over 1,000 years and became iconic in Gothic churches and Baroque palaces, where coloured glass was used not just for beauty, but to narrate myths, scripture, and royal symbolism to people who often couldn’t read.

Fun fact:
The deep reds and blues in antique stained glass were created using real gold and cobalt during the glassmaking process, which is why many historic windows still glow so vividly centuries later.
