Our Story

Being Pioneer, in 1993, My parents Mr. Jagdish Raj Punchhi & Mrs. Prem Punchhi started providing Paying Guest Accommodation to the Girls in our residential accommodation (Parvati Bhawan) in the name of our grand mother “Late Smt. Parvati Devi” in association with IPW (International Polytechnic for Women). We provided accommodation to approx. 36 girls that time. Not to say much, Many of them are like family to us and connected to us till date.

At that time few hostels were there, Hotels were there, rental accommodation was also there for the students, but PG is the thing that is new in Chandigarh. The only difference is that it is run, managed and governed by family with Family Atmosphere, Values and Independence and Homely Food.

With the span of time, and as per requirement of Girls especially Studious girls, and you can say competition and experience of so many years, we feel, girls are going choosy now a days, they need proper facilities like table chairs, separate almirahs with keys, independent doors with keys, bathrooms attached with rooms, study as well as masti, with changing menus in kitchen, a kitchen with all gadgets, Cleanliness & Hygienic environment, RO/ Filtered Water, Fridge, Water Cooler, Airy rooms with comfortable wooden beds with mattress, no controls on electricity/gadjet usage (especially Iron/Heater/Blowers/Dryers/Induction/ Electric Kettle etc.) and AC Rooms and that too with no usage limits.
