Our stay at the Madras Inn was nothing but perfect! When you arrive, you're being greeted with a smile and welcomed with heart. The rooms are very modern and cleaned everyday, I especially liked the details like a water boiler with new coffee and tea for the customers everyday. Included is the breakfast, which we enjoyed a lot. Usually it was a typical south Indian dish that gives you power for the whole day, but if you ask for continental breakfast, they will also make it possible for you. The hotel is neatly located near the city center in a clean and quiet side street. The neighborhood offers everything you can wish for, from restaurants over bars up to pulsating market districts, everything is reachable within 5 - 10 minutes. Furthermore you can conveniently reach the beach with in 25 - 30 minutes by foot or just take an auto and reach there with 10 minutes. Our biggest highlight, nevertheless, was the overall service in the Madras Inn. Our host, Balakrishnan, was very friendly and organized all our trips during the time in Chennai. Thanks to him we were effortlessly able to see Kancheepuram, Tirupati, Mahabalipuram and and and... our time wouldn't have been half as great without his help. Also everybody else of the staff was a big help and always friendly! Thank you again for everything at this point! 🙂 I fully recommend the Madras Inn for everybody and look forward to my next trip to Chennai
