Alakananda , built in the 1970s has been home away from home to some of the finest students of IIT Madras. It has seen the transformation of IIT as a brand of global repute. Named after the great river, a continuous flow of promising talent is what we pride ourselves in.

In a jaw-dropping performance by Alakananda against Saraswathi, they made Schroeter history by scoring a whopping 24 goals in a single game!

In the other semi final, a spirited fight by freshies saw them leading in the first two quarters. After the initial struggle, Jamuna finally managed to secure victory.

The finals to be held on Saturday, 24th March will see Alakananda and Jamuna finally settling their score, after their previous encounter in the group stages ended in a draw.
The Freshies will face Saraswathi for a 3rd place match.
