The David Scott Trail is more than just a nature walk—it is a journey through history.
The trail was part of a 100+ km mule track laid during British rule for trade and movement across the Khasi Hills, connecting India with the present-day Bangladesh. With remnants such as old pathways, bridges, and markers still visible along the route, walking this trail feels like stepping back in time. Our team from Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort followed the trail from Mawphlang village to Ladmawphlang village to bring you this video.
